We’re currently seeking a Solar Electrical Apprentice to assist in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of solar electrical systems.
Work requires some exposure to extreme cold (below 32 degrees), moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals or substances and loud noises 85+ decibels such as heavy trucks, construction. Tests, repairs, installs and/or maintains various types of electrical systems and equipment by operating the appropriate equipment and tools to ensure proper maintenance and functioning of necessary equipment.
Primary responsibilities include assisting with the wiring of heating and cooling equipment, supporting panel & service upgrades, and contributing to various HVAC installations, repairs, and replacements. Willingness to problem solve by reviewing specifications, consulting technical documentation, & collaborating with tech support to understand product functionality.
