In this role, you will report to the Facilities Supervisor.   Pay:This position is hourly and the target pay is $25.36 to $29.84 per hour. The range provided is a guideline and not a guarantee of compensation. Other factors that are involved in offer decisions include, and are not limited to: a candidate's experience, qualifications, geographical area, and internal equity of the team. You WillPrimary Function: As the Maintenance Technician you will repair and maintain all Powered Industrial Equipment (PIE) and associated equipment to support the goals of the Distribution Center. You will also, complete Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing repairs and other building tasks will be required.  Principal Duties & Responsibilities:<ul><li>Perform repairs and preventive maintenance tasks for PIE fleet. </li></ul><ul><li>Perform battery changes on PIE. </li></ul><ul><li>Perform preventive maintenance on batteries and the battery changing equipment. </li></ul><ul><li>Perform repairs to picking carts, trash gondolas and other warehouse support assets. </li></ul><ul><li>Complete assigned projects to support Operations Departments. </li></ul><ul><li>Perform basic building repairs, including plumbing, electrical, mechanical and carpentry repairs. </li></ul><ul><li>Maintain shop equipment including cranes, drill presses, stand grinders, welding equipment, presses (hydraulic/pneumatic), jacks, jack stands, band saws and several other pieces of equipment. </li></ul><ul><li>Assist Facilities team. </li></ul><ul><li>Perform tasks such as fire watch, removing and installing of conveyor and welding /burning projects. </li></ul><ul><li>General shop housekeeping and stock keeping responsibilities. </li></ul><ul><li>Utilization of CMMS to enter daily Maintenance Activities. </li></ul><ul><li>Remain current in training for LOTO, NFPA/NEC standards and other Measurement, as required by policies. </li></ul><ul><li>Other duties, as assigned. </li></ul> You HavePreferred Education & Experience:<ul><li>One or more years of building and equipment maintenance experience </li></ul><ul><li>Complete all company forms and paperwork. </li></ul><ul><li>Can frequently lift, push, and slide practices, typically weighing 50-75lbs. </li></ul><ul><li>Knowledge and application of safe work practices, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) standards. </li></ul><ul><li>Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and carpentry concepts, and proper tool usage. </li></ul><ul><li>Develop skills through ongoing training. </li></ul><ul><li>Vocational high school or equivalent training. </li></ul><ul><li>Experience using electrical multi-meters, hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, calipers, gauges, etc. </li></ul><ul><li>Interpret Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing (MEP) drawings and schematics. </li></ul>  Work Environment:Must be able to tolerate an environment with exposure to heat, cold, noise, dust and work around moving equipmentPosition must operate in compliance with OSHA and Hazardous Materials guidelines.Able to work in a team environment  Rewards and Benefits:With benefits starting day one, our programs provide choice and flexibility to meet team members' individual needs.
