Under the direction of the Data Technology Leader, the duties and responsibilities for this position include: • Develop and design the architecture for various data and AI solutions, ensuring each solution is scalable, secure, and reliable. • Engage with our business units to understand their requirements and translate them into technical requirements and designs. • Create data and AI architectural solutions to complex architecture, engineering, and environmental science problems. • Design and implement strategies to scale data and AI solutions across different business units. • Create detailed architecture and technical design docs for our data and AI solutions. • Assist with initiatives and efforts, as part of a collaborative team, with your data scientists, data engineers, data analysts, and stakeholders. • Eagerness to learn and work as part of a multidisciplinary team across a global practice. • Stay abreast of the latest developments and advancements, including new and emerging technologies & best practices and new tools & software applications and how they could impact CDM Smith. • Assist with the development of documentation, standards, best practices, and workflows for data technology hardware/software in use across the business. • Present to external audiences as needed. • Assist with marketing, communications, and business development descriptions and activities as needed. • Assist with internal and external website descriptions as needed. • Perform other duties as required. #LI-LP1 #LI-REMOTE Job Title: Lead Data & AI Architect Group: COR Employment Type: Regular Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree. • 8 years of related experience. • Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. Overview:
Hudson Valley Credit Union is currently recruiting for the position of Solution Architect. Primary Function: responsible for creating technology solutions in support of the long-term technology strategy of the credit union and the needs of the business, including solution architecture diagrams, architecture definitions, research notes, reports on industry best practices, and presentations. Provide indirect leadership over solution ideation, solution design, and solution implementation. Communicate the architecture to stakeholders.  Collaborate and coordinate with existing technical architects in the solution ideation and design phases. Applies IT standards to technology solutions and follows IT processes. Assist in the development of an architecture program including roadmaps for IT systems architecture. Assure solutions not only are a fit for the specific purpose but also closely align with the standards guidelines of technology solutions to ensure systems are designed to ensure maximum uptime, appropriate monitoring, automated resiliency, appropriate security, and enterprise performance.

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Create solution architecture artifacts in alignment with the credit union’s strategic technology roadmap and enterprise architecture principles. Assist the Senior Vice President of Enterprise Architecture to drive, ensure alignment and promote the company’s technology strategy and roadmap in partnership with the Enterprise Architects, IT leadership, and our internal customers to realize business strategies to meet the needs of the member base now and well into the future. </li><li>Ensure architectures are flexible, scalable, and account for directional changes taking place across the enterprise.</li><li>Review architecture artifacts with business and technology stakeholders to ensure compliance with policies, standards, technology strategy and roadmaps.</li><li>Research industry best-practice, market-leading technologies to advise business partners and to help shape the opinion and direction of the company.</li><li>Ensure security and operational integrity is sustainable.</li><li>Partner with other critical HVCU back office functions (e.g., PMO, Marketing) to ensure process alignment and collaboration on initiatives to improve speed to market and quality deliverables.</li><li>Leverage best of breed technology design.</li><li>Follow architectural standards and governance in line with enterprise technology roadmap, regulatory requirements, and security standards.</li><li>Create solution architecture artifacts and collaborate to ensure solution alignment with business and technology strategies and roadmaps.</li><li>Review solution architecture artifacts with Enterprise Architecture, IT and business stakeholders at the Architecture Review Board.</li><li>Recommend and assist with the build-out of new processes within IT in support of enterprise architecture functions.</li><li>Collaborate with Enterprise Architects to incorporate solution architecture artifacts into modeling software to ensure that an accurate picture of the people, process and technology aspects of solutions are well documented and usable by enterprise architecture stakeholders.</li><li>Work with line-of-business leaders to understand their technology needs and business strategy.</li><li>Evaluate solutions that will drive down cost of IT.</li><li>Work with key vendors / partners as needed to meet timelines.</li><li>Engage vendors for cost saving solutions.</li><li>Adhere to all Credit Union policies, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements. Qualifications:
