Using available data, make appropriate administrative decisions regarding complex, predictable and unpredictable situations affecting the hospital, such as public relations, patient care, medical-legal, financial issues, bed coordination, etc. Consistently provides current bed status of all units and patients to the Emergency Department physician, Med-Com, and MARS so that patients can be accepted for transfer as expeditiously as possible.
