In this role you will: work under the guidance of the Project Engineer in the design and documentation of project solutions and construction documents with a focus on accuracy, clarity, and constructability; perform mechanical engineering design calculations; research code issues and works with City, State and County officials; analyze reports, drawings, tests, and other data to plan and design work; interact and communicate effectively and professionally with other team members; maintain, organize and archive all project related documents; and perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned You will need to have: B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering Ability to obtain PE registration in the future preferred 2+ years' experience required Proficiency with Revit software and excellent computer skills in Microsoft Suite essential Familiarity with mechanical analysis software (i.e., Trane Trace, IES-VE, manufacturer equipment selection software) Knowledge of current sustainable technologies applicable to mechanical systems design LEED AP and/or member of professional societies (ASHRAE, ASPE, USGBC, CPD) helpful. As a Mechanical Designer, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop mechanical systems for: Healthcare facilities Corporate headquarters Laboratories Museums Government buildings Higher education campuses Infrastructure projects You'll be involved in all phases of design, from concept through construction, ensuring high-performance and sustainable solutions.
