In this role, you will be responsible for new patient admissions (complete physical, confirming diagnosis, implementation of treatment plan), certifying and recertifying patient stays, rounding on current patients and updating treatment plan as needed, communicating with medical staff and APPs on-site to ensure consistent quality care for each patient, updating patient charts and prescribing medications as needed. Excellent communication skills (oral and written), diagnostic aptitude, excellent bedside manner, and collaborative/leadership skills.
