The Clinical Nursing Director in the Diagnostic Radiology & Recovery nursing unit is a key partner with Medical Division Directors, Radiology modality managers and the Director of Clinical Operations in providing patient- and family-centered care in a safe, efficient and timely manner, and actively collaborates with Radiology leadership in the development of annual budgets and activity forecasts; manages and provides variance reporting of activity, payroll, commodity and capital budgets, and participates in new program development and implementation. Diagnostic Radiology & Recovery Nursing provides nursing support for the Diagnostic Imaging divisions in Radiology (CT, Ultrasound, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Breast Imaging, Cross Sectional procedures), pre- and post-procedure care for Interventional Radiology procedure patients and provides Radiology support at multiple Michigan Medicine ambulatory care sites.
