Responsibilities include managing patients with respiratory failure, metabolic disorders, seizure disorders, multiorgan failure, shock, toxic ingestions, ECMO, ventricular assist devices, and performing extensive general, cardiac, thoracic surgeries, transplants, orthopedic, and neurologic procedures. The role requires delivering comprehensive critical care to pediatric patients from newborn to 21 years old with complex medical diagnoses and post-operative needs.
