The manager must understand scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, aircraft inspections, troubleshooting, support equipment operations, corrosion prevention and treatment, tool control, hazardous material controls, logbooks and records, quality assurance processes, and safe-for-flight support sufficient to plan, supervise, assess, and communicate maintenance work without replacing required Government approval authorities. Key Competencies: The Project Site Manager must demonstrate disciplined program execution, technical credibility, schedule and staffing control, quality focus, clear communication, sound judgment, safety leadership, documentation rigor, and the ability to work effectively with Government and Contractor stakeholders in a high-tempo aviation maintenance environment.
