The Medical Assistant (MA) functions as a member of the clinic's patient care team that includes registered nurses (RN), licensed practice nurses (LPN), clinic assistants, technicians, clerical staff, physician assistants (PA), nurse practitioners (NP), and physicians. Required Qualifications: Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program (One year program at Vocational School) -or- Completion of an accredited LPN Program -or- Completion of an accredited EMT Program - or - a current CMA, CCMA, or RMA certification.
