LOCATION(S):Onsite at Government facilities (Customs and Border Protection locations in Texas, Arizona, California, and Oklahoma)Occasional travel within the Continental United States and U.S. TerritoriesRemote/telework may be permitted with prior approvalHEIGHT AND HAZARD PAY:Must not have a fear of heights due to being required to perform tasks at heights 80 feet or above, such as maintenance or repairs on fixed or mobile surveillance towers for CBP and FAA.Must also be able to qualify for and meet the requirements for hazard pay due to working at such heights, which involves increased risk of falls, challenging access, and exposure to environmental hazards. Must accurately document maintenance activities, repairs, and asset status in various automated tracking systems (e.g., ILS-S, LCSS).Required to troubleshoot, repair, install, and manage government assets, ensuring thorough documentation in required reports.
