Prepare criminal cases for trial; interview witnesses; prepares documents; try jury and non-jury cases involving criminal and non-criminal matters coming before the City court, including municipal zoning and building code enforcement issues, and civil matters. Represents the State throughout the life of a misdemeanor case including arraignments, pre-trial conferences, change of plea hearings, bench trials, jury trials, appeals, and petitions for post conviction relief.
