Interviewing patient to review and record medications, health history, and documenting vital signs.</li><li style="list-style-type:disc">Assisting the provider with office procedures, including suture removal, injections, wound cleaning and dressing, joint injections, and other procedures as needed.</li><li style="list-style-type:disc">Responding to patient phone calls on the same day, providing advice following established protocols and documenting all communications.</li><li style="list-style-type:disc">Managing patient flow in clinic, communicating with receptionists and the providers to assure that patient care is timely and that the provider is efficient.</li><li style="list-style-type:disc">Cleaning and preparing exam rooms and procedure rooms daily and as needed. Ensuring rooms are stocked with all necessary supplies, and that surgical equipment is properly sterilized.</li><li style="list-style-type:disc">Providing education and advice to patients regarding their condition and/or treatment plan on the phone and in the clinic, following the direction and guidance of the provider.</li><li style="list-style-type:disc">Assisting the provider with completion of necessary consent forms, insurance, worker’s compensation, motor vehicle accident and disability forms when appropriate, monitoring so that forms are completed in a timely manner.</li><li style="list-style-type:disc">Calling, faxing, or electronically submitting patient prescription refills and new medications.</li><li style="list-style-type:disc">Assisting the receptionist with scheduling of appointments as needed.</li><li style="list-style-type:disc">Providing coverage for other MAs as needed.</li><li style="list-style-type:disc">Performing other job-related duties as assigned.</li></ul>Benefits include 401(k) with employer match, health, vision, dental, life insurance, paid time off
