The Physician Assistant will work collaboratively with hepatologists, transplant physicians, gastroenterologists, surgeons, advanced practice providers, and other members of the multidisciplinary care team to provide comprehensive, high-quality care to patients with chronic liver disease, cirrhosis, portal hypertension, hepatocellular carcinoma, liver failure, and patients undergoing evaluation for and recovery following liver transplantation. The Hepatology and Liver Transplant program is an important area of growth, with an emphasis on providing patients with advanced liver disease access to comprehensive evaluation and longitudinal care close to home while maintaining strong relationships with regional transplant centers.
