The department consists of the following award-winning programs and services: Human Services; Community Parks, Outreach and Open Space; Athletics, Aquatics, Arts, Great Park Operations, and Attractions; Reservation, Program Services; Irvine Animal Care Center; Administrative Services; and the new Irvine Public Library System. College coursework in library services, community services or related field with four years of increasing responsible experience of advanced clerical, technical, or paraprofessional library services experience, or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities.
