Provides continuous monitoring and supervision of selected patients who meet eligibility criteria for involuntary status under the Georgia Mental Health Code (1013, 2013, 1014, 1021 certificates), but are not limited to, patients requiring suicide precautions, patients who need supervision to prevent them from falling or otherwise harming themselves when it is not feasible for the nursing staff to provide these services. The Patient Safety Monitor- C.N.A., under the supervision of the Professional Registered Nurse, the Licensed Practical Nurse, and/or the Physician, provides age-appropriate, culturally and ethnically sensitive care, maintains a safe environment, collects information, communicates effectively, and utilizes technology.
