Education and Experience: Bachelors degree in in Recycling or Waste Resource Management, Environmental Science or Business Administration, Physical Science, Engineering or Earth Sciences, Public Administration or a related field plus two (2) years of experience in solid waste management; or any combination of education, training and experience which provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities. This position manages significant departmental functions, including personnel issues, financial reporting and tracking, contract management, budget and capital improvement plan preparation, business transactions with customers, procurement of goods and services, and maintenance of permits and certifications.
