PCT responsibilities include, but are not limited to, movement of patients throughout the department, completion of point of care testing (EKGs, fingersticks, pregnancy/urine tests), continuous observation of high-risk patients, assisting patients with activities of daily living, performing CPR, proactive hourly rounding on patients, obtaining vital signs, documenting within the electronic medical record, and more.
