To qualify you must have a Minimum Qualifications:A Doctorate in Audiology from an accredited college or university or the completion of all the requirements for a Doctorate in Audiology except the dissertation, and one year of full-time, paid, professional clinical experience within the last ten years as an Audiologist diagnosing audiological problems or performing hearing rehabilitation; or, A Doctorate in a related field such as Speech and/or Hearing Science from an accredited college or university or the completion of all the requirements for a Doctorate in a related field except the dissertation, and two years of full-time, paid, professional clinical experience within the last ten years as described in (1); or, A Master's Degree with a major in Audiology from an accredited college or university, including three-hundred hours of supervised clinical experience in Audiology, and four years of full-time, paid, professional experience within the past ten years in the practice of Audiology in a hospital, health care, rehabilitative or related facility, at least one year of which must have been in a supervisory capacity. In this role, the successful candidate Position Summary:Under general medical direction, with broad latitude for independent action and decision, performs highly technical and responsible professional work and is responsible for the planning, administration, direction and control of a hearing therapy program in a major hospital or health care service of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
