Inspect vehicles and semi-trucks to assess collision and body damageUse welders, lifts, air tools and other shop equipment safelyRead and follow repair estimates, damage reports, manufacturer procedures, and diagramsRepair or replace damaged panels, doors, hoods, bumpers, fairingsComplete bonded panel replacements and weldingDent repair and surface preparation for primerRemove and install components and related equipmentMaintain accurate repair documentation and report additional damage as neededCoordinate with team members, service advisors, painters and customersInspect completed work to ensure proper fit, alignment, finish, and vehicle safetyKeep the shop, work area, and equipment clean and organizedFollow OSHA, company, and workplace safety proceduresParticipate in manufacturer or dealership-sponsored training programs as required. I-CAR, ASE, OEM, or other industry certifications favoredKnowledge of heavy-duty vehicles construction, body repair, and structural components preferredWelding and metal fabrication experience strongly preferredAbility to safely lift heavy parts and work from ladders, platforms, or elevated equipmentExperience with frame and structural repairStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipAbility to work independently and as part of a team.
