p>Operates a variety of machinery, equipment, and tools associated with repairing, maintaining and testing vehicles and equipment which may include a service truck, law enforcement specialized vehicles, bus, dump truck, farm tractor, forklift, sweeper, fire apparatus, tractor trailer, bulldozer, backhoe, end loader, garbage truck, sweeper, bucket truck, fuel truck, generator, tire changer, computerized tire balancer, battery/charging system analyzer, transfer pump, air conditioner recovery/recycling machine, air wrench, air compressor, pressure washer, hydraulic jack, grease gun, tire hammer, welder, torch, metal grinder, drill press, gauges, mechanic tools, volt ohmmeter, diagnostic instruments and computers, etc. Performs routine and preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment such as pumping fuel into vehicles, checking/replacing fluid levels, draining/replacing oil, changing/replacing filters, lubricating mechanical parts, rotating tires, replacing tires/belts/hoses, checking batteries, greasing equipment, flushing radiators, performing basic body repair, performing light welding and fabrication, etc.
