5+ years in QA automation / SDET / Quality Engineering roles Strong scripting ability (Python and/or Java) and experience building automation frameworks Experience testing analytics, data processing, or data‑driven platforms at scale Advanced SQL skills and comfort validating complex datasets in relational/warehouse environments Experience testing service-based architectures (REST APIs, event-driven workflows, batch/stream patterns) Familiarity with CI/CD, version control, and test reporting practices Bonus: exposure to IaC concepts, cloud security testing, or data governance validation. • Build and evolve automation that validates services, pipelines, and data outputs across environments • Create test strategies that cover functional risk, integration points, regression, and non-functional requirements • Write automation utilities for repeatable dataset setup, assertions, and environment-ready test execution • Execute API testing and performance baselining; identify bottlenecks and reliability risks early • Investigate defects using logs, queries, and telemetry; communicate root cause and reproduction clearly • Contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and release readiness; mentor peers in automation patterns.
