Loads and unloads previously set up machines such as automated assembly machines, hand assembly tables, forming machines, machining centers, boring machines, lathes, presses, rivet machines, u-joint machines, rotary welders, robotic welders, or inspection tables, to perform fastening, force fitting, welding, piercing, machining or metal working operations on assembly line. This position performs repetitive line assembly to mass-produce automotive steering columns and/or sub-assemblies following written and/or verbal specifications by performing the duties shown below.
