Essential Qualifications:High school or equivalentMinimum four (4) years to five (5) years of field experience and/or education in construction technologyMust possess excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skillsAble to plan job tasks and job durations into a work scheduleMay require company qualifications for proprietary softwarePost offer drug / alcohol screen, physical evaluation, and signed acceptance of the company Drug, Alcohol and Contraband PolicyComply with company and client job site safety requirementsMust not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others in the workplace Functional Requirements:Reviews and incorporates historical data from purchase orders, subcontracts, productivity analysis reports, etc. into unit and man-hour figures; estimates worker-hours and materials required to complete the job; reviews specifications, drawings, etc. to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate; prepares estimates by calculating complete takeoff of scope of work; maintains files of working documents and back-up for estimate figures; follows contracts as assigned - may include estimating extra work items, change orders, credits, procuring material, etc.
