Traffic Instrumentation & Control Technician performs calibration, programming, installation, repair, and maintenance of electronic equipment and various instrumentation, control systems, and process equipment used in the traffic control devices, street lighting, and traffic related communications operations setting. May direct and/or oversee the work of lower level technicians and fellow technical maintenance employees and train lower level technicians and staff in all phases of a variety of electronic traffic signal control systems, street lighting, and traffic signal communication equipment.
