Following established policies, procedures, and study protocols, provides assistance on clinical research studies, including recruiting, evaluating, and consenting patients for studies; collecting and organizing patient data; scheduling patients for study visits; performing clinical tests such as phlebotomy, EKGs, etc. Our investigators lead innovative research programs across a broad spectrum of pulmonary diseases, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, interstitial lung disease (ILD), pulmonary hypertension (PH), bronchiectasis, lung transplantation, pleural diseases, and acute lung injury.
