Must-haves: Must have own tools in good working order Ability to understand and interpret complex, technical, schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals and/or publications; ability to route wires per technical drawings Proficiency in avionics installation tooling, wiring, wiring repair, wiring installation, soldering and crimping techniques Basic understanding of spectrometer, Oscilloscope and/or Pitot static equipment Preferred: Prior experience in a Lead role; the ability to mentor, train, guide and inspect the work of subordinates Familiarity with FCC and FCC GROL Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military This position demands hands-on proficiency with harness assembly and aircraft modification, including harness routing, connector termination, ring-out, and functional testing. Education: Must-haves: High school diploma or GED equivalent and typically 15 or more years of relevant experience A higher level degree may substitute for experience Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education.
