Vaco is hiring for an Entry Level Accountant opportunity in Middlefield OH. Onsite Salary: $23-25/hr  <h3>Core Duties and Responsibilities</h3>Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable<ul><li>Process and organize financial transactions related to accounts payable and accounts receivable.</li><li>Match vendor invoices to purchase orders and packing slips to ensure accuracy.</li><li>Voucher vendor invoices in Great Plains and prepare accounts payable checks.</li><li>Review vendor invoices to ensure they match approved purchase orders.</li><li>Post inventory and sales batches in Great Plains in support of the Controller.</li><li>Prepare bank deposit slips and enter customer cash receipts into Great Plains.</li><li>Ensure customer credit cards are processed accurately using IC Verify software.</li><li>Maintain IC Verify credit card software and related records.</li></ul>Recordkeeping & Documentation<ul><li>File paid vendor invoices, daily sales packets, and supporting documentation in an organized and accessible manner.</li><li>Ensure all cash deposits match receiving reports and system records.</li><li>Maintain accurate, complete, and easily retrievable financial records.</li></ul>Administrative & Clerical Support<ul><li>Assist the Purchasing Vice President and Controller as needed.</li><li>Sort and distribute incoming mail.</li><li>Perform general clerical and administrative tasks related to the accounting function.</li><li>Support additional duties and special projects as assigned.</li></ul> Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
