DUTIES: Design, build, test, deliver and maintain conversion jobs that cleanse and transform data from various source data sets into United HealthCare Services' policy management system; access, extract, and merge data from different data sources, formats, platforms and systems; utilize data scrubbing techniques to ensure data accuracy, including parsing, data transformation, duplicate elimination, and statistical modeling; collaborate with non-technical business subject matter experts to work through the build out of conversion logic that will address data anomalies; author and maintain documentation surrounding the mapping and cleansing of source data as it is transformed into our policy management system; verify and document that all source data is accurately converted, validated, and accounted for as it is transformed into our policy management system; and participate in meetings with client teams to present conversion / validation results. Experience must include: Facilitate and document gathering requirements such as mapping documents, process flows, test cases, and business requirement documents; Build code to cleanse, transform, and enhance data sets; SQL.
