
p>A typical day as a Associate Scientist looks like: • Conducts biochemical and biophysical characterization experiments and analyze data to elucidate quality attributes of protein and gene therapy candidates • Develop methods/technologies to support both upstream and downstream functional groups • Perform protein purification and modification (labeling) as required to support therapeutic pre-clinical assay development and release testing • Document all analytical work in electronic laboratory notebook (ELN) according to a defined protocol accurately • Communicate any findings to supervisor • Summarize results in a concise format to support presentations and regulatory documents • Present findings at group, departmental, and cross-functional meetings • Maintain and troubleshoot essential instruments in lab.
