Background Check: This position has been designated by the department to require a background check because it requires access to children or vulnerable adults as defined by https://apps.leg.wa.gov/rcw/default.aspx?cite=74.34, engages in law enforcement, requires security clearance, interacts with WSU students in a counseling or advising capacity, has access to personal identifying and/or financial information, unsupervised access to university buildings/property, or other business-related need. In this role, you will use significant independent judgment while assisting the Director with, but not limited to, administrative affairs associated with human resources, overseeing accounting, budget (allocations), and finance, temporary & permanent commitments, department process improvement, training, developing and implementing policies, procedures, and practices to ensure university, state and federal compliance.
