SEES are an essential component of coordinated specialty care for early psychosis and include supporting the young person in exploring interests and goals, navigating educational and employment pathways and programs, pursuing employment opportunities including assistance with job searches, applications, resumes, and interviews, school or training program navigation, and providing support around academic or workplace accommodations. As part of the Department of Psychiatry, Neurodevelopment and Psychosis Division, the Penn Psychosis Evaluation and Recovery Center (PERC) offers consultations on diagnosis, treatment, support and skill development for adolescents and young adults (ages 16-35 years) who exhibit warning signs of emerging psychosis or early psychosis, and their families.
