Notifies contractor, subcontractor, engineer, architect or homeowner of code violations and discusses possible options to correct violations; maintains files of inspections, re-inspections, inspector notes and required reports; compiles status reports on specific assignments, as requested. High School Diploma or GED; supplemented by two (2) years of experience performing technical and/or repair work in construction including electrical, mechanical, plumbing experience or semi-skilled position; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.
