Operates chillers, pumps, air handling units, package units, exhaust systems, water treatment systems, cooling towers, compressors, medical gas systems, fire alarms, fire suppression and detection systems, and emergency generators to ensure the reliability of systems, facility comfort, and safety of staff and guests. The incumbent is guided by experience and knowledge of HVAC plant operations including, but not limited to a strong basic knowledge in the operation of utilities and power plant equipment, chillers, pumps, steam systems, and those skills to recognize issues and able to maintain these systems.
