Perform Complex Repairs and Complete Diagnostic Troubleshooting: Perform complex repairs on gasoline, diesel, and electric vehicles as well as shop and facility equipment, including work on diesel and gasoline engines, electric drive motors, high-voltage vehicle electrical systems, electronically controlled transmissions, ride-height suspension systems, suspension and steering linkages, kingpins, wheel-end components, tires, air brake systems (including ABS), hydraulic brake systems (including ABS), multiplex electrical systems, lighting systems, pneumatic air systems, HVAC systems, fare collection systems, and ITS. Install and Repair Specialized Equipment: Complete the installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and repair of specialized vehicle systems including cellular data systems and modems, Wi-Fi equipment, emergency lighting, two-way radios, mobile data terminal mounts, fare collection systems, ITS, GPS equipment, body add-ons, and decals.
