Before starting on a scheduled bus route to pick up of discharge pupils, the driver shall check headlights, tail and stop lights, warning lights, directional lights, tires, horn, windshield wipers, heater and defroster, dashboard gauges, steering brakes or any other feature which may affect the safe, efficient operation of the vehicle. General Description: Responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of school pupils within the guidelines of the State of Ohio and the policies established by the Board of Education, maintaining discipline on the bus and promoting good public relations by neat appearance, proper attitude and suitable appearance of the school bus.
