Responsibilities:
Bus/Van Driver The primary purpose of this position is to provide transportation to and from the facility’s activity programs, physician’s appointments and outings.  This also includes making deliveries and other transportation duties. Primary Responsibilities<ul><li>Loading and unloading residents into the transport vehicle and securing residents safely inside the vehicle.</li><li>Transporting residents to physician’s office, places designated by the Activities Department and other appointments as assigned. This includes making other deliveries as assigned.</li><li>Having a nursing assistant or licensed nurse accompany all residents that have any medical complexity, as determined by the DON or ADON.</li><li>Ensuring that a charged cell phone is available at all times during any bus operation and must not use the cell phone during the operation of the vehicle.</li><li>Ensuring that the resident LOA is signed by the nursing personnel or themselves.</li><li>Ensuring that all necessary paperwork accompanies the resident for appointments, keeping all resident information confidential and secure, and keeping track that none of the resident’s information is missing.</li><li>Reporting to the nurse once the resident returns to the facility and accurately recording transports.</li><li>Calling 911 immediately if any resident requires medical attention and then notifying the HFA and DON.</li><li>Reporting to appropriate Charge Nurse or designee any resident who lacks proper I.D.</li><li>Reporting any significant change in a resident’s condition or poor tolerance during transport to the Charge Nurse.</li><li>Displaying a pleasant, interested and positive approach to residents.</li><li>Being able to work cooperatively as a member of a team.</li><li style="margin-bottom:0.0001pt">Retesting of driving skills annually, regardless of age or driving record. </li></ul>

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualification/Requirements:<ul><li style="margin-bottom:0.0001pt">All drivers must be over the age of 21 and have driven for three years or more. </li><li style="margin-bottom:0.0001pt">All drivers must possess a current, unencumbered driver’s license issued by the State. </li><li style="margin-bottom:0.0001pt">All drivers must have valid documentation of a safe driving history. </li><li style="margin-bottom:0.0001pt">All drivers must complete a basic first aid course.</li><li style="margin-bottom:0.0001pt">All drivers must complete a driving skills test, upon hire.</li></ul><img alt="Daily Pay Resize" src="https://tlcmgmt.icims.com/icims2/servlet/icims2?module=AppInert&action=download&id=14140&hashed=1706337860"/>

We are hiring dependable Class A CDL Yard Spotters/Shuttle Drivers in Huntington, IN. This role moves trailers at customer request, shuttles between plant and warehouse, and supports fleet trailer movements. Drivers must cover Saturday shifts on rotation, fill in for time off, and occasionally work Sundays. Daily home time with no‑touch freight.This is a one‑truck slip seat operation requiring flexibility and reliability. Coverage is typically split between two drivers, but you must be available to step in when needed.
