The general accounting section is responsible for oversight and management of the agency's core financial functions, including accounts payable, revenue reconciliation, accounts receivable, all federal and third-party grants, other special agreements, contracts, procurement, fixed assets, vehicle fleet, uniforms, landowner coupons, revenue refunds, and auditing in accordance with state and federal laws, regulations and policies. The Fiscal Division Chief is a member of the agency's executive leadership team, collaborating with other division chiefs and the Chief Fiscal Officer to advise and assist the Director and Deputy Directors on all aspects of agency function, including legislative matters, regulations, policy, operations, and planning, all in support of the WGFD mission: "Conserving Wildlife and Serving People.".
