Reporting directly to the Head of Quality with no intermediate management layer, this role builds and maintains the data governance framework that governs how R&D data is stewarded, sourced, and controlled, and performs and approves AI risk assessments and oversight activities for AI tools used across R&D, ensuring appropriate guardrails, human review, and accountability. Recognizing that this development bottleneck may ultimately limit the number of new medicines that can reach patients, Formation Bio, founded in 2016 as TrialSpark Inc., has built technology platforms, processes, and capabilities to accelerate all aspects of drug development and clinical trials.
