Minimum Qualifications: • B.S. in Engineering • 5+ years of professional experience performing structural analysis on aircraft, spacecraft or launch vehicle structures • Demonstrated knowledge of vehicle load path and stress analysis of metallic and/or composite structures (pressure vessels, skin-stringer, fittings, sandwich panels, etc.) • Familiarity with classical aerospace sizing methods (Bruhn, Niu, Roark, etc.) • Knowledge of engineering materials and their applications to achieve optimal structures • Experience with at least one of the following analysis codes: Nastran, Ansys, Abaqus, LS-Dyna, Optistruct, NASGRO • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment with partners • Willingness to work on-site with occasional travel. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience performing structural analysis of liquid or gaseous propulsion tubing/systems • Experience supporting planning and execution of system or vehicle-level testing • Demonstrated experience with fluid systems and geometry optimization methods • Demonstrated experience with metallic structural layout, analysis, testing, and qualification methods • Experience writing detailed design and analysis reports • Experience analyzing/dispositioning non-conformances • Experience with Creo.
