<h3>Description</h3>Job Summary:We are recruiting on behalf of our client. We are seeking a Senior IT Business Planning Manager to join the Office of Information Technology (OIT). This senior-level role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and communication skills to align business goals with technology strategies across multiple departments. Candidates must be highly self-directed and capable of working in a professional, public-sector environment.Primary Responsibilities:<ul><li>Lead business/IT strategic alignment and planning</li><li>Gather/document business objectives for technology initiatives</li><li>Conduct gap analyses and support business analysts/project managers</li><li>Prioritize technology integrations aligned with business needs</li><li>Assess current vs. future tech state; identify performance measures and transition plans</li><li>Facilitate strategic work sessions and evaluate tech proposals</li><li>Analyze data from multiple sources and present executive summaries</li><li>Assist in business process redesign and technical assessments</li><li>Develop business cases, feasibility studies, and POCs</li></ul>This is an onsite role in Tallahassee, FL<h3>Mandatory Requirements:</h3>Education:<ul><li>Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related financial field</li><li>OR equivalent work experience on a year-for-year basis</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>7+ years in IT/business roles across various technical environments</li><li>Prior leadership in strategic planning, infrastructure, or IT operations</li><li>Proven work in public-sector technology organizations</li><li>Familiarity with Rules 60GG-1 through 5, F.A.C.</li><li>Experience with business process tools and successful implementations</li></ul>Technical & Business Skills:<ul><li>Strategic planning, tactical execution, project/process management, and gap analysis</li><li>Documentation of functional and technical requirements</li><li>Relational databases, data management, and business intelligence tools</li><li>Advanced Microsoft tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Power BI</li><li>Familiarity with Agile and project management methodologies</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Certifications: Scrum Master (highly regarded)</li><li>Knowledge of accounting and data conversion concepts</li><li>QA review experience and document completeness validation</li></ul>This is an onsite role, candidates should be located or willing to relocate to Tallahasee, FLPowered by JazzHR

<div> Position Overview We are seeking a proactive and technology-savvy Business Analyst with 4–6 years of experience in the PEO, Payroll, HRIS, HCM, or broader HR Technology domain. The ideal candidate will have strong business analysis expertise, excellent stakeholder management skills, and hands-on experience leveraging AI-powered tools to enhance productivity, analysis, documentation, and solution delivery. This role will act as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams to deliver scalable and innovative HR and payroll solutions. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with business stakeholders, clients, product owners, and development teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements. Translate business requirements into user stories, functional specifications, process flows, use cases, and acceptance criteria. Analyze payroll, benefits, workforce management, and HR processes to identify opportunities for optimization and automation. Leverage AI-powered tools and technologies to improve business analysis, documentation, process discovery, testing, and decision-making. Facilitate workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, solution reviews, and stakeholder discussions. Support product enhancements, system integrations, and implementation initiatives within PEO and HR technology platforms. Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect management, and release validation activities. Develop and maintain comprehensive business, functional, and process documentation. Work closely with Product, Engineering, QA, and Operations teams throughout the software development lifecycle. Required Qualifications 4–6 years of Business Analysis experience in PEO, Payroll, HRIS, HCM, Benefits Administration, Time & Attendance, or HR Technology domains. Strong understanding of payroll processing, benefits administration, employee lifecycle management, workforce management, and related HR operations. Mandatory experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, Claude, or similar platforms to enhance business analysis, documentation, research, testing, and productivity. Ability to identify and recommend AI-driven opportunities for business process improvement and operational efficiency. Experience creating BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process maps, workflows, and acceptance criteria. Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Human Resources, Finance, or a related discipline. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with PEO platforms, payroll systems, HRIS/HCM solutions, or benefits administration applications. Knowledge of payroll compliance, tax regulations, and HR operational processes. Experience with system integrations, APIs, data mapping, reporting, and data analysis. Exposure to AI-driven business applications, intelligent automation, workflow automation, or agentic AI solutions. Professional certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, Agile/Scrum certifications, or equivalent are a plus.
