Bussers might help servers bring food out to a table, restock utensils, napkins and other dining room needs . Bussers are not the front line of food service, but customer attentiveness and a neat appearance are still necessary. Bussers allow servers to focus on the diners and make sure that food and drinks come out in a speedy manner. ESSENTIAL DUTIES <ul><li> Clear, clean, and reset tables efficiently in accordance with service standards </li></ul><ul><li> Maintain dining room cleanliness, including floors, chairs, and service stations </li></ul><ul><li> Clear used plates and assist guests as needed to enhance dining experience </li></ul><ul><li> Ensure tables are properly set with silverware and napkins for the next guest </li></ul><ul><li> Transport dishes, glassware, and utensils to dishwashing areas safely and efficiently </li></ul><ul><li> Maintain organization and stock levels at bussing stations </li></ul><ul><li> Assist with opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned </li></ul><ul><li> Support overall team productivity by anticipating service needs </li></ul><ul><li> Other duties assigned </li></ul> KNOWLEDGE SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS <ul><li> This position is required to work evenings, weekends and holidays while in operation . </li></ul><ul><li> Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position a minimum of 20 pounds on an occasional basis. </li></ul><ul><li> Ability to work for extended periods of time standing, walking, kneeling, pushing and pulling on an occasional basis. </li></ul><ul><li> Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors and other employees. </li></ul> To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactoril y .
