Substitute Bus Driver Page 1 of 3 Job Description Fremont County School District 21 Substitute Bus Driver Purpose Statement The job of Substitute Bus Driver is done for the purpose/s of providing transportation services as assigned; transporting students over scheduled routes and/or to and from special excursions; ensuring vehicle is in a safe operating condition; and ensuring safety of students during transport, loading, and unloading from buses. Work Environment The usual and customary methods of performing the jobs functions require the following physical demands: significant lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling some climbing and balancing frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling and significant fine finger dexterity.
