The Telecommunications Installation Technician installs, terminates, tests, and certifies structured cabling systems on new construction and retrofit projects under Division 27 scopes — copper and fiber backbone and horizontal cabling, pathways and supports, racks, and telecom room build-outs. The employee must be able to walk construction sites and uneven terrain; climb and work from ladders, scaffolding, and aerial/scissor lifts; work in mechanical/electrical rooms, ceilings, and confined spaces; and stand, bend, kneel, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
