The Cable Installation Technicians requirements would be to address with direct supervision, outstanding cabling issues across the Division, to include remediation, repair, installation and upgrades across all IT enclaves (FBINET, UNET, SCINET) as well as video security, access control, locks/alarms (Hirsch, Bosch), OPWAN, JIANT, telephone, and coaxial cable. The Cable Technician will install cable pathway systems, fire stop systems, various electronic components, and various cable that includes but is not limited to twisted pair cable, coax, fiber optic & low voltage cable.
