Principal Accountabilities: Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility Measure and record vital signs, intake/output, and other observations as assigned Respond promptly to patient calls and requests for assistance Assist with patient transfers, ambulation, and positioning using proper body mechanics Maintain a safe, clean, and organized patient environment Report changes in patient condition to the licensed nursing staff in a timely manner Support nurses and clinical staff with procedures and routine patient care tasks Follow infection control, safety, and confidentiality policies at all times Provide compassionate, respectful care to patients and families At Atlantic Health, our promise to our communities is; Anyone who enters one of our facilities will receive the highest quality care delivered at the right time, at the right place, and at the right cost. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English Physical ability to perform job duties, including standing, lifting, and assisting patients Preferred Qualifications Completion of a Nursing Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program Current Nursing Assistant certification and/or CNA license Previous experience in a hospital, long-term care, rehabilitation, or clinical setting Strong interpersonal and customer service skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Flexible schedule availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
