<div><p/><p>STS Technical Services is hiring VFR Helicopter Pilots (H125 Captain) in Tucumcari, New Mexico.</p><h3>Position Summary</h3><p>STS Technical Services is seeking experienced Helicopter Pilots to serve as H125 Captains supporting air medical transport operations in Tucumcari, New Mexico. This is a leadership role where you are responsible for mission execution, crew coordination, and safe flight operations in time-critical environments.</p><p>Every flight has weight. Consistent.</p><h3>Incentives</h3><ul><li>Sign-on bonus up to $50,000</li><li>Location bonus up to 35%</li><li>Off-duty housing provided</li><li>Relocation assistance available</li><li>Competitive compensation with shift incentives and annual bonuses</li><li>Long-term stability within an established air medical program</li></ul><h3>Operational Overview</h3><ul><li>Aircraft: H125</li><li>Operations: VFR and NVG</li><li>Instrument rating required</li><li>24-hour operations with rotating day and night schedules</li><li>Schedule: 14 days on, 14 days off</li><li>Operates under established air medical transport guidelines</li></ul><h3>Job Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Serve as Pilot-in-Command for all assigned missions</li><li>Execute safe and efficient flight operations in accordance with company procedures and aviation regulations</li><li>Lead and coordinate with medical crews during patient transport missions</li><li>Assist with loading and unloading of patients and medical equipment when required</li><li>Support Safety Management System initiatives and operational improvement efforts</li><li>Represent the operation through professional conduct and community engagement</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Commercial Helicopter License with Instrument Rating required</li><li>First Class Medical Certificate required</li><li>Minimum flight experience:<ul><li>2,000 total flight hours</li><li>1,500 helicopter hours</li><li>1,000 Pilot-in-Command helicopter hours</li><li>500 turbine helicopter hours</li></ul></li><li>Night operations experience:<ul><li>100 hours unaided, or</li><li>50 hours unaided plus 100 hours NVG</li></ul></li><li>Maximum body weight of 235 pounds</li><li>Strong communication and customer service skills</li></ul><h3>Pre-Employment Requirements</h3><ul><li>Ability to pass background check and drug screening</li><li>Ability to complete physical and functional capacity exam, including lifting up to 100 pounds</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><ul><li>Off-duty housing provided</li><li>Relocation assistance available with service commitment</li><li>Aircraft transition training may require a service agreement</li><li>Work within a structured, safety-driven aviation environment</li></ul><h3>About STS Technical Services</h3><p>STS Technical Services is a leading provider of workforce solutions across aviation, aerospace, defense, manufacturing, and industrial sectors. Contractor will check criminal backgrounds annually and motor vehicle records every six months.</p><ol start="5"><li><p>A permanent (not temporary) individual State Guard License.</p></li><li><p>Ability to write detailed, accurate reports in English.</p></li><li><p>Ability to read, understand and apply printed rules; detailed orders; instructions and training materials in English.</p></li><li><p>Have the ability to recognize situations/individuals who may pose a threat to the public.</p></li><li><p>Excellent communications skills both verbal and written.</p></li><li><p>Ability to handle situations/individuals under stressful conditions.</p></li><li><p>Ability to follow directions, without hesitation, under stressful conditions.</p></li><li><p>Ability to handle verbally disruptive and verbally abusive people in a professional manner.</p></li><li><p>For persons with military service, such persons shall not have a discharge that renders the security officer unsuitable for the position</p></li></ol><p>Education and Experience:</p><p>High school diploma or equivalent; possession of a college degree is highly desirable.</p><p>Speak, read, and write English.</p><p>All assigned personnel should be of high integrity and possess exemplary security skills and judgment.</p><p>Must hold all necessary and required licenses, permits and certifications required by the States and/or Countries of assignment to perform security officer duties.</p><p>Veterans</p><p>Inter-Con is passionate about hiring veterans.
