License(s)/Certification(s)/Registration(s) Required: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) AND one of the following certifications issued by ARDMS or ARRT is required upon hire: Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Abdomen (AB), Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN), Pediatric Sonography (PS), Registered Vascular Technologist (VT), Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Adult Echocardiography (AE), Registered Musculoskeletal Sonographer (MSKS), American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (S). The Sonographer II is an experienced sonographer who provides specialized imaging services to OU Health patients to aid Providers in the diagnosis, care, treatment and surveillance of simple to complex conditions, defects and/or diseases.
