Under direction, monitors the delivery of various social, rehabilitative and/or medical services and programs within the community; provide technical assistance and guidance in the development, monitoring, streamlining, and/or expansion of services and programs; coordinates the administration and integration of programs and services and the monitoring of program compliance; consults with and serves as liaison with local, state, and federal government agencies/personnel community agencies, providers, and the general public. Ability to understand, interpret, and apply laws, rules and/or regulations to specific situations; deal with many variables and determine specific action; communicate effectively; develop effective working relationships; handle sensitive inquiries from and contacts with officials and the general public; prepare concise, meaningful, and accurate reports, (calculate fractions, decimals, and percentages); write and/or edit documents for publication; prepare and deliver speeches and presentations.
