Experience must demonstrate the ability to conduct an assessment, including identifying precipitating events, gathering histories of mental and physical health, substance use, past mental health services, and criminal justice contacts; assessing family, cultural, social, and work relationships; conducting a mental status examination; complete a DSM diagnosis; write and supervise the implementation of a service/treatment plan; and provide individual, family or group therapy within the scope of their training. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesConducts integrated assessments, including screening for the presence of substance use, problem gambling, mental health conditions, and chronic medical conditions, as well as the presence of systems-related trauma using ASAM criteria and DSM.Utilizes assessment tools or data in the evaluation, treatment planning, and discharge process, including cognitive behavioral interventions, motivational interventions, and healthy relationships education.
